It is time for a change.
Are there experiences or challenges in your life that have left you feeling stuck, lost, disconnected, or alone? There can be so much in life that can feel insurmountable or unspeakable. I believe this silence can be isolating, negatively affecting lives, relationships, and the future. My goal is to help you find your voice, speak your truth, and stand in your power.
I earned my doctorate at the Wright Institute in Berkeley, after completing my predoctoral internship at the Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, Maryland. My post-doctoral experiences included Kaiser Permanente Oakland's Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Core Insights Psychological Group in Oakland, CA. I completed my undergraduate education at UC Berkeley.
I have experience treating a variety of issues that include depression, anxiety, grief and loss, complex trauma, racial trauma, vicarious trauma, family stress and conflict, life transitions including immigration, catastrophic illness or injury, racial identity development, gender and sexual identity development, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder, Tourette’s Syndrome, and obsessive compulsive disorder.
I enjoy working across the lifespan, from toddlers to mature adults, and utilize individual, couples, family, and group therapies. Although I thoroughly enjoy working with clients across a broad range of presenting issues, I have over 25 years of experience helping others overcome trauma. My area of specialty is sexual trauma.
If you are ready to take the next step in your journey of healing and self-discovery, I offer one free 15 minute consultation when you request an appointment. Thank you for visiting. I look forward to meeting you.
